Beaujolais Nouveau Party

November 17, 2016

5pm to 9pm

Every year the First taste of the new Wine harvest is eagerly anticipated in France and around the world. Parties are held, bottles are uncorked and the first sips of Beaujolais Nouveau are savored. But since this is a young wine, it would be out of character to get too serious at this party. A relaxed attitude in both presentation and attire should be the order of the day! After all, until the first bottle is uncorked, no one quite knows what to expect from it-so be prepared for surprises!

Tickets are $25.00 per person

(must be purchased by November 15th!!!)

Gourmet Tossed Salad with Grilled Vegetable Flatabread and Green Goddess Dressing; Smoked Ribeye Steak with Grilled Onions and Smokey Au Jus; Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and French Green Beans. Each patron also receives their very own bottle of Bottle of Beaujolais (Glassware Optional!!!)

It has been a lifelong dream of Chef Fred’s to open his own restaurant, where he can bring his own creative ideas to the table. With over 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry, working his way up from dishwasher to General Manager to attending school to earn his Associates Degree in Food Service Tech and furthering that by becoming Certified Executive Chef with the Mid Michigan Chef’s Alliance. Fred is also a Certified Naturopathic Medicine Consultant, which motivates him to offer healthy alternatives, featuring recipes from his very own cookbooks. Chef Fred’s cookbooks will be on display and for sale within the restaurant. Chef Fred has gained experience in all different kinds of cuisine including French, Italian, Greek, German, Asian, Mexican, Cajun, Texas Style BBQ, to Fine Dining and All American Favorites, and the menu for Tipsy Bear Bistro will reflect this variety.
